QC Analyst

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Visp, Switzerland
Hours: 41 hours per week

What you will do:
Perform daily routine quality control analysis focused primarily on microbial identifications and endotoxin measurements.
Process time-critical samples with a 24-hour turnover in a fast-paced environment to support uninterrupted production schedules.
Document all laboratory activities in strict compliance with GMP, internal guidelines, and safety regulations.
Execute analytical methods, review data, and create analytical protocols, testing instructions, and short reports.
Enter and release analytical results accurately using digital platforms including LIMS and MODA.
Maintain clean, organized, and compliant laboratory spaces while supporting cross-functional collaboration across broader QC teams.
Train and support new microbiology team members and shift employees within your assigned area.
What we are looking for:
Completed Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology or related life science disciplines.
Position is open to entry-level candidates and fresh graduates directly after completion of vocational training or degree.
Strong foundational understanding of microbiology techniques, with practical exposure to microbial identification or endotoxin testing preferred.
Familiarity with digital laboratory management systems (e.g., LIMS, MODA, or equivalent).
Ability to work effectively under pressure with time-critical sample turnarounds while maintaining high precision.
Excellent communication skills for tight collaboration across multi-disciplinary QC and scientist teams.
Fluent in German (written and spoken) is required; English is beneficial.
