QC Analyst I – Analytical (Cell Therapy, Night Shift)
Location: Portsmouth, NH, USA.
As a QC Analyst I on our Cell Therapy Analytical team, you are responsible for the high-precision testing that confirms the safety and potency of personalized medicines. Working on the night shift, you provide the critical data needed to move patient treatments forward. This is a foundational role for a scientifically minded individual who wants to master complex analytical methods in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Schedule & Shift
Shift: Night Shift (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Days: Wednesday through Saturday (4-day, 10-hour schedule)
Orientation: Your first 2 weeks of training will be held on the day shift.
Differentials: This role includes competitive night and weekend shift pay.

What You’ll Do
Analytical Testing: Perform routine analytical assays to support in-process, lot release, and stability testing for Cell Therapy products.
Aseptic Handling: Maintain the highest standards of sterility when handling sensitive biological samples to ensure data integrity and prevent contamination.
Data Recording: Document all results in real-time, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensuring 100% compliance with cGMP standards.
Lab Support: Assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment, the preparation of reagents, and ensuring the lab remains in an audit-ready state.
Collaborative Quality: Work closely with your night shift team to meet manufacturing deadlines and participate in clear, detailed shift handovers.
Problem Recognition: Learn to identify and escalate any results that deviate from expected ranges, supporting the team in maintaining total process control.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific Discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field) is required.
Experience: This is an entry-level (Level I) role. We are looking for individuals with strong foundational lab skills, whether from an academic setting or prior industry experience.
Technical Aptitude: A strong desire to learn complex analytical instrumentation and laboratory computer systems (LIMS).
Attention to Detail: The ability to follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with 100% accuracy.
Reliability: Ability to consistently work the 8 PM – 6:30 AM schedule and contribute to a high-performing night team.
