Make a direct impact on life-saving biopharmaceutical manufacturing by managing site supplier qualification and vendor change processes in Slough on a 3-month contract.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

The hourly rate for this position in the United Kingdom is expected to range between 16.00£ and 19.00£. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.
What you will do:
Ensure raw materials and vendor services consistently meet rigorous regulatory standards to safeguard life-saving medicine manufacturing.
Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and site operations as a trusted supplier qualification SME.
Initiate, review, and manage Vendor Change Notifications (VCNs) to ensure site-level changes are implemented promptly.
Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and vendor quality data (VSCI) within SAP.
Monitor vendor performance metrics and drive corrective actions to improve the quality of supplied materials and services.
Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supplier qualification workflows on site.
What we are looking for:
1–2 years of practical experience in Supplier Qualification or Supplier Quality Assurance within a regulated industry (Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, CDMO, or Medical Devices preferred).
Hands-on experience assessing and implementing Vendor Change Notifications (VCNs).
Practical proficiency in SAP systems (specifically managing Approved Supplier Lists and VSCI records).
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills with external vendors and internal site teams.
Proactive mindset with a commitment to quality compliance and continuous process improvement.
