We are looking for a new Procurement Manager who will help us lead the consistent supply of purchased direct materials to support the production schedules, customer service levels, and inventory targets. You will be reporting to the Supply Chain Director and you will be responsible for the supervision of Local Operational Buyers in order to maintain site vendor relationships, place and manage purchase orders, resolve supply disruptions and pricing issues, process vendor change notifications and specification changes, qualify new materials, support timely receipt of materials and answer related AP questions.
What you will do:- Lead fulfillment of optimal Material Requirements Plan and target inventory levels, ensuring proper maintenance and use of MRP data and adherence to SOPs.
- Prioritize and organize team activities to support timely execution of document changes, new material qualifications and issue resolution.
- Support the development and tracking of Purchasing KPIs and controls such as BWise, PPV and standard costs or transfer prices.
- Ensure suppliers and materials are qualified as per processes including intercompany purchase orders with the local operational buyers until invoice process completion.
- Ensure supplier complaints are handled in a timely manner and with a good quality level and that CAPA and deviations of the teams are followed and answered according to standards
- Maintain and follow-up on development plans for each team member and monitor their progress as well as support them in strengthening key vendor relationships.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record as a successful leader in the procurement field.
- Hands on experience with SAP.
- Previous leadership experience in a matrix organization and multi-cultural environment is a plus.
- Outstanding communicational skills and business proficiency in both French (site language) and English.
