Project Engineer

This position has responsible for the following six (6) major activities under the direction of Utility & Engineering Manager.

Development of new equipment/apparatus Modification of Machines (Melt, HCM, Printer, Sorter, etc.) Introduction of new equipment or technology Communication and co-operation with worldwide CHI engineers Project work as a leader and/or member Maintenance of Machines by co-operation with CHI members

    a). Development of new equipment/apparatus

Quality Improvement

Consider how to improve the existing process for quality and productivity grade up.

Planning

Study the project feasibility and importance for the plant before starting the project.

Design

Design carefully considering GMP standard and the comfort of the users.

Research

Collect the information of new technology and participates a course held by outside developers and companies.

EHS

Consider safety and environment as high priority.

PM / Training

Consider how to maintain the existing equipment to increase productivity.

    b). Modification of Machine (HCM, Sorter, Printer, etc.)

              Same as a).

    c). Introduction of new machine and/or technology

Validation

Execute the validation before/after introduction by using SPC (Statistical Process Control) method and appropriate protocol.

Training

Prepare the instruction manual and train people (including supervisors) who work with it.

Maintenance

Issue maintenance and calibration manual for the maintenance staff and train them.

    d). Communication & Co-operation with worldwide CHI engineers

Technical Information

Notice the technical information from other worldwide plants, especially from divisional technical staff, CDOS(Capsugel Divisional Operation Service) group and also R&D group.

Technical Bulletin

Submit a technical bulletin about the new development to CDOS and R&D group, also prepare drawing revision request, process change request when it is required.

Co-operation

Communicate and co-operate with worldwide CHI engineers by interchanging technology to achieve the same goal.

    e). Project work as Leader/Member

Cooperation

As a team member, participate the team activity positively and contribute to the team goal.

Project Management

As a project leader, manage the team member/actions to meet the team goal timely.

    f). Maintenance of Machines by co-operation with CHI members

Preventive Maintenance

As an engineer, manage the maintenance plan to keep the machine productivity. And be working with maintenance people to improve the environment.

Training

Prepare an instruction manuals and trains people (including supervisors) who work with to increase the productivity.
