Production Operator

Location: Visp, Switzerland

Hours: 41 hours per week

What you will do:

• Execute critical manufacturing activities in various production areas within Module L, adhering to safety, cGMP, and quality regulations.

• Contribute directly to producing life-changing biopharmaceuticals that impact millions of patients globally.

• Monitor production processes and actively identify, investigate, and resolve abnormalities or deviations on the shop floor.

• Operate, support, and troubleshoot modern manufacturing systems and machinery in a high-tech cleanroom facility.

• Accurately complete batch documentation, logbooks, and required mathematical calculations.

• Support onboarding, practical training, and knowledge transfer for new team members as operations expand.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain) to optimize efficiency and maintain continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Educational background in chemical, biopharmaceutical, life sciences, engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent vocational experience).

• Prior practical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical operations, or technical operator roles (cGMP environment preferred).

• Welcoming transferable experience from other industrial manufacturing fields (chemical, food/beverage, automotive, electronics) or motivated technical career changers.

• Strong mechanical aptitudes and a problem-solving mindset with basic knowledge of process operations.

• Meticulous attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and commitment to high-quality standards.

• Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.

• Willingness and flexibility to work in a shift-based model (e.g., 4-shift system).
