What you will do:
Guarantee the safe release of life-saving medicines to patients worldwide by ensuring that every drug product—whether liquids in vials, lyophilizates, or pre-filled syringes—is rigorously tested with our semi- or fully automated visual inspection systems.
Ensure the Support of the project team regarding complex topics by use of scientific and statistical knowledge. incl. collaboration with the functions in the project and across Drug Product Services including existing Drug Product facilities
Support the Head Visual Inspection in developing, prioritizing and achieving goals with respect to the project and overall Drug Product Services goal, incl. (but not limited to) qualification, validation and lifecycle management of VI equipment especially AVI, SAVI and CCIT.
Technical improvement execution: Execute improvements, drive process related trouble shooting/ investigations. Ensure that process technical batches generate sufficient process knowledge by thoroughly testing critical variables.
Provide front line shopfloor support, working directly with visual inspection Operators, focusing on manufacturing process and executing each batch safely, on time, in compliance with the batch instructions and quality requirements.
Deviation handling: Lead process related investigations and deviations including complaints actions. Use scientific and statistical knowledge to analyze data to provide process understanding, and to identify root causes of product and process failures. Assign, lead and execute actions and CAPAs and changes in Trackwise.
Support customer and health authority audits: Maintain their processes at Inspection readiness level and to provide the necessary support in any internal or external audit
Provide training for assigned new processes and products for visual inspection team.
What we are looking for:
Solid experience with either semiautomatic or fully automated visual inspection systems in the GMP controlled aseptic production (vials, syringes) is a must
Experience in qualification or design documentation according to GMP is a strong plus
Experience with health authority audits is a plus
University degree
Fluency in EITHER English OR German (with at least basic level understanding in the respective other language)
You enjoy working proactively and independently
