Pharmaceutical Maintenance Technician

This is an onsite position in Bend, OR. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates and their families.

This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Lonza has an opening for a Pharmaceutical Maintenance Technician in Bend, Oregon. You will support the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment used in pharmaceutical production. You will begin with a six-month training program on day shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). After training, you will transition to a night shift schedule with rotating weekends. Night shift includes a 15% shift differential.

• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and safety
• Review and update maintenance records and documentation
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation
• Interpret equipment diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
• Collaborate with teams across manufacturing, labs, and utilities
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours needs

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Technical training in mechanical, electrical, or related fields
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, or fluid systems (or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documents
• Strong math, reading, and basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• Experience in a GMP environment is helpful but not required
