We are seeking an HR Reporting & Analytics Specialist to drive the strategic evolution of HR reporting and analytics at Lonza. This role designs and delivers high‑impact data solutions that support business decision‑making and operational excellence. It plays a critical part in Lonza’s HR transformation by enabling data‑driven decision‑making, ensuring system integrity, and driving continuous improvement in reporting capabilities.
Role Purpose & Scope
The HR Reporting & Analytics Specialist exists to transform HR data into actionable insights, ensuring Lonza’s HR systems and reporting landscape are scalable, automated, and future‑ready. The role covers the design, governance, and delivery of HR analytics solutions, with responsibility for Workday dashboards, Prism data pipelines, and integration of external data sources.
Key Responsibilities
HR Analytics Architecture
- Design and evolve Lonza’s HR Analytics system landscape with scalable, automated solutions.
- Lead development and governance of Workday dashboards and Prism data pipelines, including external data integration.
- Support future HR Analytics system projects (implementation, development, education).
Reporting & Insights Delivery
- Own end‑to‑end reporting solutions for strategic initiatives.
- Create and validate complex reports and KPIs.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis and insights for HR leadership and Centers of Expertise (CoEs).
- Act as a consultant on HR process improvement initiatives, optimizing data flows and reporting logic.
System & Data Governance
- Maintain and optimize existing reports and dashboards in Workday.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across reporting systems.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in Workday reporting, including object relationships and custom data sources.
- Hands‑on experience with People Analytics, including baseline reports and trend dashboards.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems and global HR processes.
- Experience in strategic HR analytics, including KPI development and trend analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- High proficiency in Office 365; familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
- Workday Pro Reporting accreditation preferred.
