Packaging Operator
Location: This job is located Onsite at our Tampa facility on Grace Street.
This person will be responsible for executing packaging and labeling processes in compliance with Batch Record and cGMP requirements, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to FDA standards. Duties include equipment setup, room preparation, and cleaning/sanitization of packaging areas and equipment, while providing support to Manufacturing, QA, Warehouse, and Facilities to meet production goals.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.
What you will do:
Production – Execute manual and automated primary/secondary packaging processes per batch record; assist with equipment setup and material reconciliation between packaging and warehouse.
Quality Reporting – Immediately report observations or potential issues to QA, Team Lead, or management to prevent deviations or investigations.
Cleaning & Equipment Support – Perform cleaning and sanitization of packaging rooms; assist Equipment Specialist with qualification protocols for new equipment.
Safety Compliance – Follow all safety and sustainability requirements; report hazards promptly; participate in safety meetings; stop work when necessary to maintain safety.
Training & Documentation – Maintain current SOP training; complete logbook entries and GMP documentation accurately.
Physical Requirements – Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 lbs from floor and 25 lbs overhead, perform cleaning with 20-ft wand, wear respirator/coveralls, climb ladders, and work in cold environments.
General Responsibilities – Attend meetings to support production schedules; maintain professionalism and confidentiality; comply with regulatory requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of relevant experience
Pharma/GMP experience
