The Operational Excellence Specialist at Lonza AG offers a remarkable opportunity for those who are motivated by data and results. This role is uniquely positioned to influence and drive broad change across global systems and processes, ensuring a flawless customer experience both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities:Act as a key member for global and high impact strategic projects driven by the Global Process Owner organisation
Collaborate and engage with the Finance organisation to streamline the End to End Record to Report process by effectively managing relationships with various parties
Develop positive partnerships with critical team members throughout different areas to encourage collaboration for effective solution delivery
Identify and back process re-engineering and ongoing improvement initiatives in Record to Report processes in the respective Shared Service Centre
Analyse data and find opportunities, develop hypotheses, and once validated manage the change process to ensure they are deployed with minimal disruption
Use current tools and new technologies to emphasize opportunities to relevant customers
Foster culture of continuous improvement by sharing guidelines and demonstrating visible hands-on leadership
Ensure appropriate and relevant controls are applied with R2R process stream, continuously monitor control requirements and drive appropriate control gap resolution
Build and maintain RtR process documentation, drive global process adherence and control of process deviations
Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or relevant experience
Strong functional expertise and understanding/interest in end-to-end business processes
Proven problem-solving and root cause identification skills
Ability to structure complex action plans that account for the end-to-end dependencies of their specialist process
Competence to build and conduct presentations and trainings effectively
