Operation Buyer (CGT)
As a Senior Specialist, Supply Chain – Operational Buying (CGT), you will be responsible for translating CGT asset strategies into effective sourcing, procurement, and material planning actions. You will ensure the timely availability of GMP-compliant materials to support production, technology transfer, and project execution, while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence and supply continuity.
This is a fully site‑based role at Singapore Tuas. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you’ll do
Translate CGT asset and program strategies into effective sourcing, procurement, and material planning actions to support production and project requirements.
Ensure timely availability of GMP-compliant materials at optimal cost, quality, and service levels through close collaboration with Program Management, Manufacturing, MSAT, QC, and QA.
Act as the Supply Chain representative for technology transfer activities, providing material planning input and governance.
Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of SAP material master data and raw material part number setup.
Manage GMP documentation related to materials and suppliers, including TrackWise change controls, supplier change notifications, deviations, and CAPAs.
Support raw material specification creation and material qualification activities, including ownership of material qualification tracking and status reviews.
Monitor supplier and vendor performance, escalate issues, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with Strategic Buyers, Category Managers, and Global Procurement.
Support supplier changes, sourcing initiatives, and negotiations related to pricing and lead times.
Participate as a subject matter expert in audits and Materials Review Board (MRB) meetings, identifying and resolving material-related risks.
Uphold data integrity standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Operational Excellence, Kaizen, and process improvement activities.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, operational buying, procurement, or material planning within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of GMP requirements, material qualification, supplier management, and change control processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP sourcing and procurement activities.
Experience supporting cross-functional teams in complex, project-driven environments (e.g. CGT, biologics, or advanced therapies).
Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and drive issues to resolution.
CPIM (Certified in Planning & Inventory Management) certification is an advantage.
