Nexus IT Data Migration Lead
As part of Lonza’s Digital Core Transformation, the S/4HANA Data Migration Architect plays a critical role in enabling a successful ERP transformation. This role is responsible for architecting, governing, and leading end‑to‑end data migration from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data quality, business continuity, and long‑term value realization.

- Define, govern, and continuously refine the data migration strategy aligned with the S/4HANA transformation roadmap
- Assess legacy data sources, identify data quality gaps, and define data mapping and transformation rules
- Oversee the design and execution of ETL processes using SAP data migration tools
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance throughout migration cycles
- Lead and coordinate cross‑functional business, functional, and technical data migration teams
- Manage migration plans, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Provide post‑go‑live data support, conduct data audits, and enable handover to operational teams
- Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA data migration in large‑scale ERP implementations
- Strong expertise in SAP data migration tools (SAP BODS, LSMW, or others)
- Deep understanding of data mapping, ETL, and data quality management
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- SAP S/4HANA Data Migration certification and project management experience are advantageous
