MSAT Scientist II, Analytical Development Services

Location: 100% on-site. Portsmouth, NH.

The MSAT Scientist II, Analytical Development Services (ADS) incumbent is responsible for performing Analytical Development activities including assay work, result interpretation and instrument troubleshooting, with minimal supervisory direction. The individual performs a variety of routine and non-routine work within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.

What you will do:

  • Perform routine analytical assays following standardized SOPs

  • Train on more advanced methodologies and be involved in analytical method transfers

  • Analyze data sets, draw conclusions, and prepare slides to present findings at group meetings.

  • Maintain lab housekeeping and safety audits (6S activities), monitor preventative maintenance and periodically review documents.

  • Represent the lab on internal and external project teams, provide progress updates, and participate in customer call decision-making.

  • Ensure all mandatory cGMP requirements and training profiles (e.g., ComplianceWire, Cornerstone) remain up to date at all times.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree required, preferred in Biotechnology area, Biological Sciences, or Chemical Engineering. Typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong communication skills. Able to clearly express ideas and point of view both verbally and in writing. Has good interpersonal skills. Shows commitment and dedication and strives to be ahead of schedule.

  • Able to shift priorities based on company needs and able to multitask on multiple projects.

  • Ability to think critically and logically.

  • In depth knowledge of large scale manufacturing, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and US/EU regulations.

  • Working experience with data analysis.
