What you will do:

• Deliver process know-how, scientific expertise and operational excellence for biopharma API manufacturing.
• Ensure successful process technology transfer and manufacturability by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Process Development, Operations, QA and QC.
• Own and support change control activities to maintain compliant and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Provide manufacturing support during production campaigns and lead process troubleshooting activities on the shop floor.
• Drive process optimization through data analysis and preparation of CPV and APQR documentation in partnership with data management teams.
• Identify and implement workflow, process and asset improvements through innovation and continuous improvement projects.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, supporting operational excellence and knowledge sharing across the organization.

What we are looking for:

• Master’s degree or PhD (preferred) in Bioconjugation, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline, with a focus on organic chemistry.
• Significant industry experience in bioconjugation methodologies, biopharma manufacturing and/or process development, ideally within bioconjugates.
• Hands-on experience with downstream processing, including chromatography and filtration technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound technical decisions.
• In-depth understanding of bioprocess technologies and practical cGMP manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English language skills; German language knowledge is an advantage. Creative, agile and open-minded approach to challenges.
