We are hiring a driven MES/DeltaV Specialist to ensures the functionality of the automated production process (e.g., recipe) in MES/DeltaV during production and cleaning, and immediately intervene with corrective actions in case of deviations.

The role is based in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. This role involves being onsite full time.

What you will do

  • Creation, testing, and optimization of the automated production process

  • Close collaboration with the responsible plant team (chemist, plant and automation engineer, QA manager, plant supervisor) during the planning phase and production

  • Creation and adjustment of recipes in MES

  • Participation in risk and process deviation analyses

  • Collaboration with other departments to ensure cGMP-compliant documentation

  • Continuous improvement of procedures and processes while complying with safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality requirements

  • Identification of risks related to safety or compliance/GMP, addressing them with the relevant departments, and contributing to their resolution

Ihre Hauptaufgaben

  • Erstellung, Testung und Optimierung des automatisierten Produktionsablaufes

  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem zuständigen Anlageteam (Chemiker, Anlage- und Automationsingenieur, QA Manager, Anlagemeister) während der Planungsphase und der Produktion

  • Erstellung und Anpassung von Rezepturen im MES

  • Teilnahme an Risiko- und Prozessabweichungsanalysen

  • Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen zur Sicherstellung der cGMP-gerechten Dokumentation

  • Durchgängige Verbesserung von Abläufen und Prozessen unter Einhaltung der Sicherheits-, Hygiene-, Umwelt- und Qualitätsanforderungen

  • Erkennung von Risiken in Bezug auf Sicherheit oder Compliance/GMP, thematisieren bei den betroffenen Stellen und Mitarbeit bei deren Behebung

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor / Master / Degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

  • In-depth technical knowledge in CQ and OPs , possibly in the biological, chemical and/or pharmaceutical industry

  • Extended EHS knowledge

  • Experience with MES/DeltaV

  • Solid internal and external collaboration and the ability to lead diverse teams in the successful delivery of projects.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent in German and English. Alternatively, you are fluent in one of the two languages and willing to learn the other.
