The Materials Requirements Planner is responsible for proactively maintaining and continuously improving the supply of Raw Materials. Perform all duties to ensure the Raw Materials Requirements Plans are completed, to ensure the timely availability of materials, and communication to all relevant collaborators to drive short term execution of Plans. Responsible to liaise with all key functions to ensure timely updates to material plans considering changes to plans or material availability issues.

What you will do:
Perform all duties to ensure the Materials Requirements Plans are completed, ensuring the timely availability of materials to support the product Supply Plan.
- Liaise with all key functions to ensure timely updates to material plans, considering changes to plans or material availability issues.
- Complete important tasks to support inventory plans and optimization initiatives.
- Convert planned orders into material plans, including the creation and management of material planned requirements.
- Collaborate with Supply Planner, Material Project Lead, and Schedulers to ensure all material plans are up-to-date and responsive to changes in material requirements.
- Establish and uphold detailed material planning parameters in Planning systems.
- Convert the material requirements plan (purchase requisitions) into Purchase Orders.
- Expedite material availability through liaison with procurement and teams involved with inbound material processing.
- Develop and manage material-related critical metrics and measures to ensure accurate understanding of material availability.
- Complete key material availability, mobilization, or write actions to support efficient management of inventory while reducing scrap/waste.
- Liaise with key collaborators (Supply Planner, Material Project Lead, Scheduler, and PM) to develop safety stock and inventory plans to meet production plans.
- Track, report, and facilitate timely material availability, including testing and release for production.
What we are looking for:
A degree or equivalent experience in SCM, Procurement, or any relevant field.
- Proven experience in SCM, Materials Planning/Scheduling, and/or Purchasing.
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency English is required; German Proficiency is advantageous
- Strong teammate, able to work across cross-functional teams.
