Based onsite at our Vacaville facility, this role offers an exciting opportunity to produce innovative bio-therapeutic medicines by interfacing with highly automated production systems in a cGMP environment. Working on our Back Half Nights shift, you will directly contribute to either upstream cell culture or downstream purification processes, playing a vital role in manufacturing the medicines of tomorrow.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
Safeguard patient health by operating highly automated systems to produce innovative bio-therapeutic medicines within a cGMP environment.
Assemble and prepare equipment for production runs, including the cleaning and sterilization of fixed vessels, filtration systems, or chromatography columns.
Execute detailed, right-first-time documentation on batch tickets, labels, and equipment readings to ensure full compliance with SOPs.
Monitor active processes and handle raw materials or hazardous chemicals safely, escalating any process anomalies immediately to secure swift resolution.
Maintain a high state of inspection readiness across all production areas while fostering safe, environmentally compliant work practices.
Collaborate within a dynamic team environment, coordinating with upstream or downstream departments to meet crucial production demands.
Build technical and professional capabilities in biomanufacturing automation, paving the way for long-term career growth within the life sciences industry.
What we are looking for:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; advanced college-level coursework, technical degrees, or biomanufacturing certificates are highly preferred.
Diverse Backgrounds Welcomed: Ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical/hands-on background looking to transition industries, or current college students seeking a stable night shift.
Process Discipline: Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment, strictly following SOPs and prioritizing compliance over improvisation.
Physical Capability: Comfortable standing/walking up to 90% of a shift, navigating stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs, and wearing required cleanroom gowning/PPE.
Automation Comfort: Basic computer literacy to interact with process automation software, electronic inventory tools, and standard office programs.
Shift Availability: Fully committed to working the Back Half Nights schedule (Wednesday – Friday, with alternating Saturdays, 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Training Requirement: Must be fully available to work daytime hours during the initial 2-week training period (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) before transitioning to the night shift.
