Relocation assistance available

At Lonza Portsmouth, you don’t just supervise a shift — you help lead the future of medicine.

Our site is uniquely positioned at the intersection of personalized Cell Therapy and large-scale Mammalian biologics manufacturing. This creates a rare opportunity for manufacturing leaders to build careers that span two of the fastest-growing areas in biopharma.

We are seeking Manufacturing Supervisors to lead high-performing teams across both platforms, delivering safe, compliant, and reliable production while developing the next generation of Lonza manufacturing talent.

Lead teams whose work directly supports patients — from individualized cell therapies to globally distributed biologics.

Accelerated Career Growth
Build leadership experience across multiple manufacturing modalities, positioning you for future roles in Operations, MSAT, or site leadership.

Dynamic, High-Visibility Environment
Work in both scaling cell therapy operations and world-class large-scale biologics suites.

Quality & Compliance Leadership

  • Own deviation triage, investigations, and CAPA development
  • Maintain a permanent state of audit-readiness
  • Serve as a frontline representative during regulatory inspections

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead real-time troubleshooting and escalation of technical and operational issues
