We are actively hiring for Manufacturing Specialist DSP to join our teams in Visp.

Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manufacturing activities in the Downstream Processing area according to cGMP guidelines

  • Ensuring batch execution, evaluating test results, resolving issues, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and make recommendations for resolution.

  • Follow strict guidelines of SHE (Safety, Health, environment), EM (Environmental Monitoring), operation and cleaning within the production area

  • Advise on continuous process improvement projects withing the production area

  • Advise on document preparation (e.g. electronic batch records, SOPs) specific to the assigned production area

  • Act as a technical reference for other member of the shift team on the production area

  • Responsible for the continuous training of the manufacturing staff on specific equipment or standard operations

Key Requirements:

  • Completed chemical / biopharmaceutical education or corresponding training qualification, Bachelor / Master's degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering or related fields is an advantage

  • Good knowledge of biotechnological processes in the area of mammalian protein purification (DSP)

  • Strong communication skills, collaborative great teammate, motivated and passionate about finding solutions

  • Fluency in English required, fluency in German is considered a plus

  • Open to work in shift (4-shift system)

  • Very good GMP understanding required
