In the role of Manufacturing Specialist 80-100% (m/w/d), you will be at the forefront of our manufacturing operations, ensuring the seamless and compliant production of critical therapies through mammalian cell culture and/or purification. Key responsibilities:
Contribute to the execution of manufacturing activities in mammalian cell culture and/or purification, adhering to cGMP guidelines. This includes ensuring batch progression, reviewing test outcomes, addressing challenges, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, while also proposing solutions
Support the integration of Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and Environmental Monitoring (EM) considerations into operations, as well as the analysis of operational and cleaning risks for assigned products. This involves aiding in the implementation and monitoring of defined control measures
Collaborate in the timely creation and high-quality maintenance of production documentation, including the preparation and review of electronic batch records specific to the assigned production area
Participate in the review of production documentation and contribute to the management of deviations, change requests, and the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to uphold stringent GMP standards
Serve as a production subject matter expert in capital investment projects for the construction and commissioning of manufacturing units. This includes providing essential input for the specific design, commissioning, and qualification of manufacturing suites and equipment, including automation systems
Assist in the development, modification, and review of DeltaV recipes for equipment and facility components
Collaborate with Engineering and workshops on campaign preparation and change-over activities within the facility.
Contribute to the training and development of biotechnologists (operators)
Undertake other responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational goals
Key requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent work experience
Previous experience within the Bio / Pharma industry, with knowledge of cGMP requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant manufacturing systems and electronic batch records (implied from responsibilities related to batch execution, documentation, and DeltaV)
Fluency in English. Ability to communicate or willing to learn German
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment while fostering inclusivity
