The Manufacturing Project Associate II is an intermediate-level position for an individual with foundational technical manufacturing or quality knowledge and proven project experience. You will serve as the Manufacturing representative on critical cross-functional teams (including MSAT, QA, Engineering, and Validation) to drive site and department goals. This hands-on role requires you to work independently to manage projects from concept to completion, focusing on continuous improvement, quality initiatives, and direct support for manufacturing operations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (On-Site)

Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership: Manage and own small to large-scope projects from concept to completion, including scope development, assignment, monitoring, and controlling deliverables, with limited supervision.
Cross-Functional Representation: Act as the primary Manufacturing liaison on cross-functional teams for interdepartmental readiness, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives.
Customer Interaction: Serve as the Manufacturing representative during Joint Project Team (JPT) meetings and participate in pre-campaign activities, requiring direct customer interaction.
Technical Support & Analysis: Maintain and develop technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and customer processes. Support technical analysis on equipment and processes using PI data, batch record review, and suite GEMBAs.
Quality System Execution: Own and drive the completion of key quality records, including CAPA actions, Out of Tolerance (OTNs), particulate investigations, and Lab Investigation Reports (LIRs).
Documentation & Compliance: Review, create, approve, and own Manufacturing documents, including Work Instructions, SOPs, and Batch Records. Support leads in Tech Transfer activities and departmental readiness.
Equipment & Process Change: Own and complete Change Requests to support project completion, and provide training support for the execution of new or changed manufacturing process operations.
Continuous Improvement: Investigate and take ownership of improvement opportunities identified during run execution, and support the management and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in a technical manufacturing, quality, or related GMP environment, with demonstrated success in managing projects from initiation to closure.
Skills: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Must have strong technical aptitude for understanding equipment, processes, and data analysis.
Communication & Quality: Excellent communication skills required for cross-functional collaboration and direct customer interaction. Proficiency in owning and executing core quality records (e.g., CAPAs).
