In the role of the Manufacturing Line Specialist - Anlagemeister (AM) you ensure through intensive technical and organizational support of production campaigns in a 6x20k multipurpose, mammalian large-scale facility, the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins for our commercial customers while adhering to HSE, hygiene, and cGMP guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
Equipment availability – this includes HSE, tidiness, cleanliness and coordination of maintenance & calibration of state-of-the-art equipment in collaboration with internal technical stakeholders. Serve as first point of contact in equipment malfunctions and lead the troubleshooting in close collaboration with the Bioprocess Engineers.
Training - Ensuring that employees assigned to a project or equipment have a good level of training regarding cGMP, HSE, hygiene, and technical competencies.
Cross-functional - Support the manufacturing of therapeutic products through risk analyses, equipment modification, technical optimizations and coordination of routine technical tasks.
Culture - Implements the One-Lonza vision and culture and supports its further development through openness to change, new ideas, and continuous improvements.
Key requirements:
Completed apprenticeship as a biotechnological/pharmaceutical/chemical technologist (chemical technician) or B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in technical or scientific field with relevant work experience in large-scale biotechnological plants.
You demonstrate high flexibility, teamwork ability, organizational skills, and strong commitment.
Fluency in English (spoken/written), German is considered a plus.
