Biotechnologist / Manufacturing Associate I

Join our dynamic team in Portsmouth, NH as a Biotechnologist / Manufacturing Associate I, where you will execute cGMP production processes and maintain high quality standards in a state-of-the-art facility.

Working Model

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Shift Schedule & Training
  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on a two-week rotational schedule:

    • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

    • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

  • Shift Differential: Included for weekends worked.

  • Initial Training: 2-week day shift (Monday–Friday) onboarding period upon hire.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.

What you will do:
  • Execute cGMP manufacturing recipes, monitor production processes, and operate equipment including Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems.

  • Document all manufacturing activities in written and electronic batch records in strict accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).

  • Perform core laboratory tasks and sampling, such as monitoring pH and conductivity, while maintaining proficiency through your individual training plan.

  • Execute routine sanitization, facility maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 6S programs) to maintain high operational standards.

  • Perform material movements and safely transfer materials and chemicals in, out, and across production areas.

  • Collaborate with shift team members through daily shift handovers, team meetings, project participation, and open communication.

  • Drive your professional growth by applying operational feedback and mastering aseptic techniques under supervisor guidance.


What we are looking for:
  • Experience: Previous working experience in manufacturing (cGMP environment preferred) or entry-level exposure in the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Skills: Strong decision-making, logical reasoning, and critical thinking abilities; proficiency with aseptic techniques and laboratory equipment operations.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strict adherence to documentation practices (GDPs).

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in a Science-related discipline).

  • Mindset: Adaptability to changing business priorities, a passion for continuous learning, and an eagerness to seek and apply performance feedback.
