Job Description:

  • Set up, operate equipment, and monitor production processes, including clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operations.

  • Report production in written and electronic documents in accordance with good manufacturing practice (GMPs) and good documentation procedures (GDPs).

  • Troubleshoot routine and non-routine equipment issues and review documentation as appropriate.

  • Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of suite-specific production activities and laboratory tasks such as bioreactor inoculation, chromatography column operation, and product sampling.

  • Train other associates on production tasks and the scientific theory behind operations.

  • Attend shift exchanges and meetings, send and receive emails, and participate in projects and technical writing (deviations, document change forms, etc.).

  • Attain qualification for all assigned tasks and maintain an individual training plan.

  • Perform material movements and transfer raw materials, chemicals into, out of, and across production areas.

  • Maintain facility and equipment through routine cleaning and sanitization, supporting 6S programs.
     

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of manufacturing experience.

  • AS/BS in a science-related field preferred.

  • Adherence to cGMPs is required at all times during the manufacture of APIs.

  • Consistently achieves objectives while keeping track of critical metrics under supervision.

  • Seeks to understand the corporate strategy and how their business area contributes to the company’s success.

  • Understands what internal and external customers need from them to deliver in their respective role.

  • Demonstrates an openness to receiving customer feedback.
