Manufacturing Associate Level 1
Join our dynamic manufacturing team on the front lines of producing innovative bio-therapeutic medicines, operating state-of-the-art automated production systems and contributing to the technical precision required to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
Shift, Schedule & Training Details: We are hiring for multiple 12-hour shift rotations (6:30 AM – 7:30 PM or 6:30 PM – 7:30 AM):
Front Days: Sun – Tue, Alt Wed (Day Shift)
Front Nights: Sun – Tue, Alt Sat (Night Shift)
Back Days: Thu – Sat, Alt Wed (Day Shift)
Back Nights: Wed – Fri, Alt Sat (Night Shift)
Training Requirement: All candidates must be fully available for a mandatory 2-week daytime orientation/training schedule (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) before transitioning to their regular shift.

What you will do:
Safely execute upstream (media prep, fermentation, harvest) or downstream (buffer prep, filtration, chromatography) operations using highly automated control systems.
Ensure Right-First-Time execution by meticulously completing batch documentation, tickets, and equipment readings in strict compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
Prepare, assemble, clean, and sterilize fixed vessel systems, filtration assemblies, and piping via automated Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Steam-In-Place (SIP) protocols.
Maintain a high state of inspection preparedness across all work sites, adhering strictly to environmental and safety guidelines.
Handle raw materials and hazardous materials safely according to OSHA and internal standards.
Collaborate professionally across cross-functional shifts and escalate operational issues promptly to ensure timely process resolution.
Build foundational biotechnology expertise while supporting continuous improvement and mentorship opportunities within a growth-oriented team.
What we are looking for:
High School Diploma or GED required; college-level coursework, technical certifications, or military/customer-service background (e.g., structured environments like military service or fast-paced operational leadership) highly valued.
Strong commitment to safety, strict adherence to compliance, and process-oriented discipline over unguided improvisation.
Proven resilience, adaptability, and clear communication skills when facing operational challenges in a team environment.
Comfort operating automation software, keyboard/mouse interfaces, and business inventory systems.
Ability to meet cleanroom entry standards, including full gowning (hospital scrubs, coveralls, safety toe shoes, eye protection, gloves) with no makeup or jewelry worn in cleanrooms.
Physical capability to stand/walk for up to 90% of a 12-hour shift, navigate up to 30 flights of stairs, lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs-force, and perform manual equipment connections.
Willingness to undergo DOT Physical screening (blood pressure, vision, hearing) if required to operate powered industrial trucks.
