Manager, Engineering - Maintenance
The engineering team is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team.
This is a fully site‑based role at Singapore Tuas. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
The manager will be managing all aspects of the maintenance department including the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources. Establishing an engineering quality management system; evaluating quality engineering processes to satisfy business requirements and strategising workplace safety and health programmes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the engineering strategy

What you’ll do:
- Oversee plant maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal production output and quality.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team in daily, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Motivate and coach the team of maintenance associate engineers to operational success.
- Collaborating with other departments, to create business opportunities through innovation and recommends changes to current technical practices.
- Plan and implement maintenance programs based on industry best practices, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime by prioritizing, coordinating, and enforcing maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and support for maintenance activities while optimizing resources (labor, materials, capital).
- Supervise, train, and develop engineers and staff to enhance technical competency and performance.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, SOPs, and safety standards in all maintenance tasks and documentation.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support audits and investigations (e.g., deviations, contamination, discrepancies) and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Drive continuous improvement and team development through performance feedback, training programs, and efficiency enhancements.
