Maintenance Engineer
Join our dynamic team in Visp as an EMR Maintenance Engineer to lead critical calibration, preventive maintenance, and compliance activities for advanced process instrumentation in a world-class manufacturing environment.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
Prepare, execute, and document calibration and preventive maintenance activities for process instrumentation to ensure seamless plant operations.
Manage and maintain accurate calibration records using CMX Calibration Software in full compliance with site standards.
Coordinate routine maintenance work orders and asset tracking efficiently through SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure high reliability and audit readiness.
Support technical troubleshooting, root cause diagnostics, and continuous improvement initiatives for complex instrumentation systems.
Participate in investigations, change controls, and CAPAs related to calibration and instrumentation activities.
Play a key role in maintaining rigorous standards for safety, quality, and operational excellence across the manufacturing site.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 5 years of practical experience in process instrumentation, calibration, and maintenance within pharmaceutical, chemical, or process manufacturing environments.
Mandatory hands-on experience operating within a strictly regulated GMP environment.
Expert knowledge and operational proficiency in CMX Calibration Software.
Good working knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and work order management processes.
Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Technology, or equivalent qualification (HF/FH or completed apprenticeship with extensive industry experience).
Excellent written and spoken German skills combined with good English language skills.
An independent, structured, and solution-oriented professional with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
