Logistics Specialist II

Based in Portsmouth, NH, this hands-on operational role is essential to managing the receiving, storage, dispensing, and shipping of API and consumable materials. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams to keep site production running safely and efficiently.

Fully site‑based role

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

• Execute logistics operations across Receiving, Shipping, Dispensing, and Warehouse areas while ensuring strict adherence to cGMP guidelines.

• Perform inventory management transactions using systems such as SAP, Syncade, and Ship Console (e.g., Goods Receipt, Stock Put-away, Order Fulfillment, Material Movement, and Scrapping).

• Safely operate Power Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, ride-on equipment, order pickers, and box trucks to transfer materials.

• Support Manufacturing with domestic and international shipments, including Lukapak receiving and handling.

• Monitor critical equipment and environmental tracking systems, including circular chart installation, daily monitoring, and Trackwise/DMS logbook entries.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Manufacturing, Quality Assurance Raw Materials/Quality Control, and Procurement.

• Actively participate in continuous process improvement initiatives and promote site safety standards.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experience: 0–4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or cGMP manufacturing environments.

• Licensing: Valid Driver’s License required (for driving box trucks and site vehicles).

• Technical & System Skills: Experience or familiarity with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Syncade, Trackwise, DMS) and inventory control software.

• Physical & Operational Capability: Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks), lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical warehouse tasks (bending, standing, reaching).

• Work Schedule & Mindset: Ability to work a rotating manufacturing schedule (days or nights), strong safety orientation, and an agile, team-first mentality.
