 Logistics Associate - Onsite - German speaking

Ready to play a key role in pharmaceutical manufacturing logistics? In this site-based role in Visp, you will manage critical chemical supply flows and high-potency raw materials essential for producing life-saving medicines.

Fully site‑based roles

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

  • Ensure safe, precise, and traceably documented logistics operations within the Fine Chemical Complex (FCC) and Highly Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (HAPI) plant areas.

  • Drive daily chemical warehouse activities, strictly maintaining safety and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Execute clean and compliant storage operations, inventory management, and material receipts using SAP MM or BW and MES.

  • Manage physical material transfers, loading/unloading operations, and hazardous goods movement using industrial forklifts.

  • Maintain seamless compliance through exact archiving of shipping documents, safety certificates, and batch traceability data.

  • Collaborate closely with site production teams, quality assurance, and site logistics stakeholders to maintain uninterrupted supply flows.

  • Continuously support process reliability, workplace safety, and operational excellence across the manufacturing site.


What we are looking for:

  • Completed vocational training (EFZ / EBA) in logistics, warehousing, or a related technical field (CPT certification is an asset).

  • Practical warehousing experience within a chemical or pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environment.

  • Valid forklift operator's license (SUVA-recognized) with proven hands-on operating experience.

  • Strong working knowledge or familiarity with SAP and MES for inventory control and material booking.

  • Native or fluent German language skills with conversational English ability.

  • Good physical fitness and comfort working around chemical production environments.

  • High reliability, self-confidence, proactive problem-solving mindset, and a strong commitment to team success.
