What you’ll do:.

  • The Quality Operational Excellence Lead is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and driving quality initiatives across the entire site, ensuring comprehensive and large-scale operational excellence.

  • Lead and manage quality improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Providing expertise in process improvement, change management, and efficiency optimization.

  • Gather and assess opportunities for process optimization, reducing waste, inefficiencies, and redundancies while enhancing customer experience and productivity.

  • Develop and implement quality management systems and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive change initiatives.

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Provide training and support to staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization, building strong relationships with Quality leaders and operational teams to ensure alignment on Quality Continuous Improvement programs and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Growth Projects: Lead initiatives aimed at scaling operations, ensuring quality standards are maintained during periods of growth. This includes identifying potential bottlenecks, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing scalable processes.

  • Standardization Efforts: Develop and enforce a unified standard across the site to ensure consistency in quality and operational practices. This involves creating comprehensive documentation, conducting regular audits, and facilitating cross-departmental collaboration to align on best practices.

  • GMP Compliance: Ensure all processes and operations adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and best-in-class quality management practices. This includes regular training, audits, and updates to procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Support a culture of high performance and trust. Assure that the required level of knowledge and skills is available and identify competency gaps

  • Ensure on-time delivery, effective use of resources (budget, time, personnel, systems) and ensures that cGMP and Lonza guidelines are followed)

  • Establish a high sense for quality understanding among the site for both facilities.

  • Ensures that decisions are fully supported by global and local Quality and Regulatory.
