Laboratory Technician
Laboratory Technician
Join our Quality Control team in Visp and perform high-quality analytical testing using HPLC methods to help us manufacture life-saving medicines safely.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and relevant knowledge.
What you will do:
Perform analytical methods in line with SOPs, GMP standards, and safety regulations, with a strong focus on HPLC analyses.
Adhere strictly to quality guidelines while balancing hands-on practical laboratory work with essential administrative tasks.
Document and detail analytical results accurately and contribute to crafting clear work instructions.
Take over equipment responsibility to support laboratory maintenance and ensure the laboratory remains safe, clean, and tidy.
Collaborate closely with shift workers and cross-functional team members to maintain seamless laboratory operations.
What we are looking for:
Completed training as a Laboratory Technician, CTA or a BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related scientific field.
Solid hands-on, practical experience executing HPLC analyses (including experience gained during internships).
Prior work experience within a regulated GMP environment in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), ideally Waters Empower
A conscientious, structured and responsible work ethic with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
Fluency in English, with a strong preference for at least basic language skills in German to aid in team collaboration.
