The actual location of this job is in Basel Stücki, Switzerland.

Lonza DPS is constantly expanding its capabilities and portfolio in the manufacturing of VI sets and meets the increasing demand for specialized VI sets for diverse products. The Lab Technician will support in the design, manufacturing and certification of VI test sets. The work will include the design and preparation of surrogate solutions, filling of units (e.g. vials, PFS, bags), imaging, spiking and verification of particle defects, organizing and taking part in the certification of VI sets, as well as the corresponding documentation.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and preparation of surrogate solutions

  • Filling of units (e.g. vials, PFS, bags)

  • Imaging, spiking and verification of particle defects

  • Organizing and taking part in the certification of VI sets

  • Corresponding documentation

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree or apprenticeship in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent reporting and scientific skills

  • Excellent ability to interpret complex analytical data

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Detail oriented, proactive attitude, enthusiastic and open-minded

  • Good inter-personal skills

  • Willingness to learn and carry out new and complex tasks

  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
