The Inventory Manager is responsible for inventory control and validation activities to ensure appropriate levels of inventory control. Responsible for developing effective inventory planning strategies that align with the financial objectives. Manage the collaboration with demand planning, finance, logistics (inclusive 3PL`s) business team to meet the overall balance between inventory and service levels

In this role, you will be at the heart of our inventory management process, ensuring optimal stock levels and supporting key business objectives.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing inventory strategy for the assigned region across LPBN material types, collaborating with internal teams, manufacturing sites, tolling partners, and distribution centers.

  • Monitoring inventory flows to meet company targets, service levels, and OTIF KPIs.

  • Reviewing SKU-level performance and providing actionable insights based on LPBN metrics.

  • Adjusting inventory parameters to support planned NWC targets.

  • Partnering with the Planning team to update monthly lead time variations.

  • Supporting S&OP preparation with input on inventory health, deviations, and optimization opportunities.

  • Executing inventory postings in SAP and ensuring accurate material master data.

  • Acting as the primary contact for 3PL warehouses, coordinating transfers and supporting financial checks.

  • Monitoring SMOG inventory and driving reduction initiatives.

  • Evaluating inventory development and identifying potential constraints such as warehouse capacity or market limitations.

  • Participating in storage capacity reviews and annual inventory processes, including external warehouses.

  • Serving as a point of contact for external regulatory bodies in defined inventory processes.

 

What We Are Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (Logistics or Supply Chain preferred).

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive inventory strategy recommendations.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels.

  • Excellent analytical skills with experience defining KPIs and conducting root cause analysis.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint) and proficiency in SAP or BI tools for data extraction and reporting.

  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
