Join our ambitious team as an Intern in Formulation Development at Lonza AG in Switzerland in Basel - Stücki.
Duration of the internship: 6 months.
Key responsibilities:
- Support pharmaceutical development studies for liquid and lyophilized parenteral drug products of biologics (e.g. monoclonal antibodies)
- Prepare compounding solutions and mobile phases, perform analytical tests to evaluate physicochemical properties of the drug product (e.g. content by UV, color, clarity and opalescence, pH, osmolality, visible particles, subvisible particles)
- Prepare systems and samples for HPLC and capillary-based purity methods
- Rheological characterization using a cone-plate rheometer
- Document data in accordance with applicable laboratory procedures, current documentation practices and data integrity standards.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, Master student level or completed Master degree
- Studies in relevant fields: Pharmaceutical Sciences, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, potentially environmental sciences
- Preferred: with some experience in laboratory practice
- Languages: English required (proficiency, or at a minimum good working level in written and spoken language)
