HVAC Maintenance Mechanic, Level IV
Location: Portsmouth, NH. The shift schedule will be from 6am-6pm: Sunday-Tuesday week 1, Sunday-Wednesday week 2… The first 3 months of training will be during M-F: 8-4:30PM.
The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic Level 4 performs preventive maintenance and inspections on air handlers, cold rooms, and freezer systems. This role requires working in a fast-paced team environment while strictly adhering to safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures. You will be responsible for detailed electronic and written documentation, including using the TrackWise system to meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Additionally, participation in an on-call rotation is required to ensure continuous system operation

What you will do:
Perform all work safely, adhering to GMP guidelines, SOP’s and work instructions.
Perform daily inspections of HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
Execute moderate to complex troubleshooting and repair of plant and utility systems in the Portsmouth manufacturing facility.
Assist/coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure equipment is maintained in full operational status.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC and laboratory equipment in the Portsmouth manufacturing facility.
Maintain records to comply with GMP requirements.
Responsible for maintaining current training on all related aspects of job.
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
Willingness to learn to read complex mechanical drawings.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures consistently.
Working knowledge of shop math and ability to read and write clearly.
