HVAC Engineer

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
Deliver greater operational impact by leading capital projects, upgrades, retrofits, and sustainability initiatives like airflow optimization and heat recovery.
Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and BAS teams to resolve real-time system issues and manage site utility alarms.
Design, review, and modify critical HVAC systems, including AHUs, ducting, filtration, and heating/cooling systems, while performing vital airflow, load, and energy calculations.
Provide rapid troubleshooting support for HVAC system failures, deviations, temperature instabilities, and airflow imbalances.
Integrate and monitor systems using Building Automation Systems (BAS) platforms to track trends, monitor alarms, and implement automated changes.
Ensure strict compliance with FDA, GMP, and GEP standards by supporting audits, managing change controls, and developing rigorous SOPs.
Drive professional growth by assisting in the development of project scopes, timelines, budgets, and supporting system commissioning and validation efforts.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 3–8+ years in HVAC engineering or utilities systems, preferably within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or highly regulated environment.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of HVAC system design, cleanroom/controlled environments, and BAS/controls systems integration (e.g., Siemens Desigo).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field with transferable engineering capabilities.
Execution & Scope: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, verify airflows, manage equipment data, and execute sustainability improvements.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working effectively across cross-functional engineering, quality, and operations teams.
