The Human Resources Services Advisor position at Lonza is a dynamic opportunity to join a global leader in life sciences in New Hampshire, USA. Key Responsibilities:
Under the general mentorship of the HR Services Advisory Lead, the HR Services Advisor is accountable for the following:
Serve as the primary contact for service-related inquiries from Recruitment, managers, employees, and other HR team members, ensuring seamless handling of HR requests from initiation to closure.
Provide outstanding customer service by promptly resolving queries and issues. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of business operations, structure, and key contacts. Offer support and advice during HR calendar events, such as IDP, MAP, and STIP salary reviews.
Apply multiple HR and Payroll systems to efficiently resolve customer inquiries.
Share customer feedback with the Service Specialist and suggest innovative HR technology solutions to improve daily operations.
Monitor the quality of transactional work produced by the Hubs and track key HR Services metrics.
Initiate and manage changes in Workday as outlined by processes.
Offer proactive advisory services to HRBPs and line managers regarding policies and system use.
Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the business area, site-specific HR strategies, and challenges, encouraging collaboration for site-specific projects.
Advocate for the use of the case tool within Human Resources, serving as the subject matter expert for other HR teams.
Adhere to SLAs while maintaining a focus on delivering an excellent customer journey.
Provide mentorship on a wide range of key HR processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in WFA/Payroll.
Strong understanding of corporate strategy and the ability to connect business area contributions to the company's overall success.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; HRIS experience (Workday) preferred.
Previous experience in a human resources role, with ticket management and employee relations experience preferred.
Outstanding customer service orientation with strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated approach to improving processes with flexibility and a willingness to learn.
HR Certification is a plus.
