Lead complex human capital transitions in a global healthcare leader as an HR M&A Projects Lead in Basel. This office-first role offers the chance to own end-to-end HR strategy, integration, and execution across major acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Drive global strategic value by steering human capital transitions across international corporate deals.

  • Own end-to-end HR delivery for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and restructuring projects.

  • Partner with Corporate M&A, Legal, Finance, IT, and Business Leaders to align HR execution with overall deal objectives.

  • Lead comprehensive HR due diligence, identifying risks, liabilities, costs, and workforce transition strategies.

  • Execute key HR operational streams including change management, talent retention, payroll, benefits, and HRIS continuity.

  • Guide complex engagements with works councils, labor unions, and key regulatory bodies across global jurisdictions.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while mentoring functional HR teams through deal life cycles.


What we are looking for:

  • Extensive professional experience (10+ years) leading HR M&A, integration, or corporate restructuring initiatives.

  • Strong background in international, matrix-structured environments (consulting or global corporate in-house experience preferred).

  • Deep functional expertise across Total Rewards, HR Operations, Change Management, and HR Systems.

  • Proven financial acumen and capability to evaluate M&A risk, deal costings, and Transition Service Agreements (TSAs).

  • Demonstrated experience handling sensitive labor law contexts, regulatory mandates, and works council negotiations.

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Business fluency in English and German is a plus.
