About the Role

We are looking for an Employee Relations Business Partner to join our Human Resources team in Houston. In this role, you will help foster a fair, inclusive, and high-trust work environment by conducting employee relations investigations, providing guidance on workplace matters, and driving initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture. You will work closely with Human Resources, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to support compliance, enhance the employee experience, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage employee relations investigations involving policy violations, workplace concerns, ethics matters, and compliance-related issues.

  • Conduct interviews, gather evidence, analyze findings, and develop clear, well-documented investigation reports and recommendations.

  • Partner with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, Information Technology, and Human Resources teams to ensure objective and thorough investigations.

  • Perform root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions to address workplace issues and reduce future risk.

  • Analyze employee relations and engagement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Drive site-wide employee engagement initiatives by partnering with leaders to develop and implement action plans informed by employee feedback.

  • Present insights, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership to support organizational effectiveness and culture initiatives.


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

  • Experience conducting employee relations investigations, ideally within a complex or multinational organization.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, Human Resources practices, workplace investigations, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using workforce data, metrics, and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI; experience leveraging digital and AI-enabled tools is preferred.
