As Head of Warehouse & Logistics, you will lead warehouse and logistics operations while playing a key role in establishing Swissmedic‑licensed, future‑ready logistics processes for our new buildings as part of our growth project. What you will do:

  • Lead and develop a team of Logistics Experts and Logistics operators 

  • Supervise the SAP-EWM implementation at the local Site 

  • Represent the existing warehouse facility during regulatory inspections and customer audits, and actively participates in customer visits and presentations.

  • Oversee all warehousing and material management activities, including receiving, 

  • issuing, storage, handling (disposition, consumption, and process order bookings), allocation of direct materials to support manufacturing, and material scrapping.

  • Drive the optimization of warehouse processes to ensure compliant storage, transportation, and distribution, with a focus on time and cost efficiency.

  • Ensure effective communication between management, stakeholders and Global Engineering 

  • Be responsible for operative takeover of the warehouse (incl. Automated HighBay Warehouse), Drive Swiss Medic readiness preparation and represent operations with SME’s during the audit. Be accountable for preparation of all relevant procedures (SOP’s) and ensuring training of staff. 

What we are looking for:

  • Solid work experience in a highly regulated (preferably pharmaceutical, GMP controlled) environment with proven direct line leadership experience

  • Solid experience in logistics and particularly warehousing processes (preferably at a manufacturing site)

  • Experience with SAP EWM

  • Fluency in German as well as fluency in English

  • Technical or University education in logistics preferred
