We are looking for a visionary Head of Operational Transformation – Advanced Synthesis (m/f/d) to join our Visp site. As a key member of the ADS Large Scale OPS Site Leadership Team, this role is responsible for leading strategic initiatives in Operational Excellence, Training, Digitalization, and Productivity Improvement. The position is essential to driving innovation, reliability, and performance across Development Services and Small-/Midscale OPS ADS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement transformation initiatives in OE, Training, Digitalization, and Productivity

  • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with ADS Large Scale OPS goals

  • Apply Lonza Project Methodology to ensure structured and timely project delivery

  • Identify and drive process optimization and cost-efficiency opportunities

  • Promote innovation in manufacturing technologies and operational methods

  • Manage cross-functional teams and allocate resources effectively

  • Ensure transparent communication between leadership and operational teams

Key Requirements
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Bioengineering

  • Proven leadership experience (min. 5 years) in manufacturing within the process industry

  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills

  • Deep understanding of chemical manufacturing and safety standards

  • Analytical mindset with experience in Lean methodologies

  • Ability to simplify complex processes and drive measurable improvements

  • Skilled in planning, organizing, and decision-making in dynamic environments

  • Fluent in English; German proficiency is a strong asset
