We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Logistics Team Lead to oversee the full scope of Logistics and Waste operations at our Biologics production facility. In this role, you will ensure the efficient flow and storage of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and supplies—while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor team members within the assigned logistics area, encouraging a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all logistics processes align with current regulatory requirements (GMP/GDP, safety, etc.).
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external collaborators by understanding their needs and delivering tailored logistics solutions.
  • Drive standardization and continuous optimization of logistics processes.
  • Collaborate and communicate optimally with other logistics areas across the plant.
  • Represent BioAtrium Logistics in cross-functional and strategic projects.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, teamwork, and service perfection aligned with Lonza’s values and vision.

Key Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (required).
  • Additional qualifications in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to close CAPAs with appropriate documentation and evidence.
  • Training in Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Perfection methodologies (preferred).
  • Shown leadership experience in logistics or supply chain roles within a multinational or biopharma environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on team development and collaborator engagement.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to align logistics operations with broader organizational goals.
  • Analytical attitude with a track record of solving complex logistical challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international GMP/GDP, transportation, and logistics regulations.
  • Experience identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational perfection.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, with a focus on reducing lead times and enhancing efficiency.
