Group Lead, Analytical Sciences

Lonza Pharma and Biotech has an opening for an Analytical Sciences Group Lead at our Bend, Oregon site. In this role, you will guide a dynamic team supporting analytical development for early‑stage and commercial programs.

What you will do:

• Lead a team that delivers high‑quality analytical data to support development projects.
• Set priorities, schedule activities, and guide your team to meet project timelines.
• Ensure safe working practices and maintain high standards of data integrity.
• Support development studies including stability testing and formulation understanding.
• Maintain systems, procedures, and documentation that meet development and GMP expectations.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities for team members.
• Guide the review, interpretation, and presentation of analytical results.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical development or chemistry.
• Experience in a GMP environment is preferred.
