For our site in Colmar, France | Lonza, we are hiring our Global Sustainability Reporting and Compliance Associate Director (hybrid role).
What you will do
Lead CHI’s external sustainability reporting, including double materiality assessments and the development of the Sustainability Report in line with ESRS, GRI and TCFD requirements.
Establish and manage robust ESG data governance, information flows, and internal controls across systems and functions.
Lead third‑party assurance of sustainability data, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors and overseeing remediation actions.
Coordinate global external ESG certifications and ratings, including Ecovadis and CDP, and identify additional certifications (e.g. relevant ISO) to enhance CHI’s ESG performance.
Drive SBTi readiness and target setting, including emissions data collection, target definition, and validation process; alternatively lead credible non‑SBTi pathways if required.
Monitor the evolving global ESG regulatory and legal landscape, ensuring compliance with sustainability reporting, disclosure and claims requirements.
Provide expert guidance on sustainability claims and external communications, supporting Marketing, PR, Investor Relations, and customer-facing teams.
Represent CHI in industry forums and advocacy groups, supporting investor and stakeholder engagement and strengthening CHI’s ESG ratings and reputation.
What we are looking for
Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Environmental or Sustainability (or equivalent)
Sustainability experience (ESG Corporate, GRI, TCFD, ESRS frameworks)
Writing skills, product & project evaluation
Experience working with cross-functional teams and projects
Solid project management and leadership skills
English fluent
