We are looking for a Expert, Supply Chain - Material Requirements Planning to join the team. This is a 15 months fixed term contract in Singapore Tuas site.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out routine tasks to transform planned orders into material plans, including the creation and management of material requirements.
- Convert material requirements plans (purchase requisitions) into purchase orders.
- Create and maintain detailed material planning parameters within planning systems.
- Ensure and expedite material availability by coordinating with Global Procurement and Operations Buying.
- Monitor, report, and facilitate timely material availability, including testing and release for production.
- Collaborate with Supply Planners and Manufacturing Scheduler, to keep all material plans updated and responsive to changes in requirements.
- Work with key stakeholders (Supply Planner, Manufacturing Scheduler and Program Management) to develop safety stock and inventory plans that align with production schedules.
- Participate actively in the Customer Project Team to drive the Supply Chain’s adherence to production timelines, from order placement and delivery to testing and release of raw materials, ensuring operational alignment with project goals.
- Co-develop and implement short- and long-term raw material planning programs to ensure sufficient quantities of appropriate materials are available when needed, while optimizing costs. This involves close collaboration with Manufacturing, MSAT, and Program Management to specify and source new material requirements and adapt to production schedule changes.
- Identify and respond to situations or impending events that require escalation, communicating effectively to the appropriate levels.
- Execute key actions related to material availability, mobilization, or write-offs to optimize inventory management and minimize scrap and waste.
- Establish and manage material-related KPIs and metrics to ensure a clear understanding of material availability.
- Take lead in making effective purchase decisions, following up, and expediting the resolution of issues related to quality, delivery, and other concerns.
- Provide leadership and support to internal customers in managing raw material planning activities within SAP, ensuring precision and compliance with internal processes.
- Actively contribute to operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking for:
- 5-10 years experience, with 4-5 years hands on SAP experience
- Relevant phama industry experience is preferred
- Strong problem solving ability, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Planning/Work Management
- Communication - present facts clearly, logically & accurately so that it can be understood by others
