This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
Lonza has an opening for an Entry Level Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bend, Oregon. You will begin with a structured six-month training program on day shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), designed to develop your technical skills. After training, you will transition to a night shift schedule with rotating weekends, which includes a 15% shift differential.

- Troubleshoot and maintain equipment, utilities, and facility systems
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and safety
- Review maintenance procedures and provide clear documentation feedback
- Maintain accurate records to support audits and inspections
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment drawings
- Collaborate with teams across manufacturing, labs, and support services
- Participate in on-call rotations and support after-hours needs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certification, degree, or equivalent experience preferred
- Basic mechanical and electrical skills
- Experience using hand and power tools preferred
- Ability to read technical diagrams and documents
- Strong math, reading, and computer skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment
