Join our Engineering team in Visp as an EI&C IT/OT Senior Project Lead 80-100% (m/f/d) and drive the evolution of our MES landscape across its full lifecycle. In this role, you’ll shape digital manufacturing by leading MES projects, strengthening system standards, and ensuring GMP‑compliant, high‑impact system performance.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Execute and lead MES projects across all lifecycle phases, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Maintain, optimize, and further develop MES standards, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with site and global guidelines.
Ensure reliable operation, enhancement, and updating of MES systems, recognizing their direct impact on production processes and GMP‑compliant documentation.
Collaborate closely with Operations, QA, Automation, and IT/OT teams to ensure seamless system integration and high system availability.
Analyze and improve MES‑related workflows, identifying opportunities for digitalization, efficiency gains, and data integrity improvements.
Coordinate and manage external partners and vendors involved in MES or OT‑related project and support activities.
Ensure GMP‑compliant execution of all MES and OT activities, including documentation, change control, and validation readiness.
Completed university degree in Computer Science, Industrial IT/OT, Automation Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor level or higher).
Significant professional experience in IT/OT, MES, or automation‑related engineering roles within a regulated environment.
Solid understanding of GMP requirements and experience working with validated production or automation systems.
Responsibility for the MES lifecycle, including system operation, enhancements, release management, and interface coordination.
Strong knowledge of OT networks, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), system architectures, and basic cybersecurity principles.
Fluent German or English (minimum B2 level) for effective collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
Structured, independent working style with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
Willingness to participate in on‑call duty (Pikettdienst) 2-3 times per year.
