Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems in line with Corporate EHS policies. The role involves delivering training, conducting risk assessments and ensuring a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Filling compliance checklist of all applicable EHS regulations (a detailed checklist of compliances is prepared) periodically.
  • EHS Management Systems:
    • Checking compliances of Corporate EHS guideline’s requirements.
    • Support implementation and continual improvement of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems.
    • Maintain documentation such as SOPs, risk assessments, emergency response plans, and audit checklists.
    • Coordinate with area owners to conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA/ Fire Safety Risk Assessment/ Chemical Safety Risk Assessment etc.)
    • Coordinate with area owners to implement control measures and ensure follow-up on corrective actions of accident & Near Miss CAPA, Gemba and actions of Risk Assessments.
    • Checking of Permit’s compliances
    • Verifying quality, inspection and availability of all PPEs
    • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and project teams to embed EHS best practices
    • Maintain incident records and track corrective/preventive actions.
    • Facilitating incidents Investigation. ensuring timely reporting of incidences, ensuring timely reporting of near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
  • Maintaining Fire prevention and Protection System:
    • Ensure all firefighting system and fire alarm system are in good working condition.
  • Training and Awareness:
    • Conduct EHS induction and periodic training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
    • Promote safety awareness through toolbox talks.
  • Environmental Management:

  • Ensure proper functioning of effluent treatment plant (ETP) to meet required effluent water quality
  • Coordinate with area owners that segregation and disposal of waste is done in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure environmental monitoring is done as per plan and air quality is as per norms.
  • Daily monitoring of energy and water usage

Key Requirements:

  • B.Tech Mechanical(preferred) / Electrical.

  • Environment, Health & Safety / Industrial Safety / Engineering

  • 3-4 years in EHS.

  • This is individual contributor role.

  • Required language is English & Hindi
