Director, Account Management EMEA

This role, based in Switzerland, offers an exciting opportunity to lead account management initiatives across the EMEA region. As an Associate Director or Director, you will have the chance to strengthen customer relationships, increase account penetration, and uncover new avenues of business. It will be important to deliver year on year customer happiness targets, and account targets.
Key responsibilities:Work with a number of European based accounts to move their program(s) forward and look to grow business either with new molecules or growing the value chain.
Develop strategic account plans based on market trends, ensuring approval from sales management and business.
Manage account business and negotiations, ensure timely delivery of Scope of Work, and keep opportunity updated for senior management.
Plan and implement sales processes with strong value propositions to efficiently close deals.
Advocate for customers and resolve issues using internal team expertise, advancing critical ones when necessary.
Close complex customer deals across Lonza technologies with effective teamwork and communication.
Improve customer happiness and conduct regular account health checks.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Creative, adaptable, capable of self-motivation and independence
Adept at building strong internal network and navigating a complex matrix organization to optimize influence for ensuring appropriate support levels for territory opportunities
Proficient at engaging with technical and non-technical customer partners, including C-Suite leaders, to discuss the value of Lonza’s offerings for deals of any size.
Strong understanding of drug development and commercialization processes
Listen to internal/external needs, build solutions aligning with expectations, drive profitability
Communicate Effectively in a Team: Build networks, respect diverse views, and foster trust. Support others by sharing feedback and knowledge.
